Pots & Pans Cottage is a two-bedroomed traditional 18th Century Weavers cottage located in a peaceful and private hamlet a few minutes walk from the centre of Uppermill in the heart of beautiful Saddleworth. The cottage is big enough to accommodate four adults, although as we are situated in a quiet and close-knit community we don’t accept bookings for parties.

Dogs are more than welcome to come and stay, and Saddleworth is the perfect place to bring your dog on holiday.

The minimum booking is two nights, and discounts are offered for longer-term stays. Returning guests are offered a 10% discount.

Panel 2

The cosy cottage is the perfect size for two couples, there are two double bedrooms (one can be made up as a twin if required), two bathrooms (one with bath, one ensuite), a cosy lounge with a log burner and a well-appointed kitchen and dining area. The decked garden and gazebo for outdoor dining is perfect to enjoy the tranquillity of Saddleworth.

The Kitchen at Pots & Pans Cottage is the heart of the cottage that hosts a cosy dining area and a fabulous six-hob gas-fired range with two electric ovens.

Pots & Pans Cottage has two double bedrooms. The cosy main bedroom has a kingsize iron bed. The 2nd bedroom with en-suite can be prepared as a double, twin or single.

The lounge at Pots & Pans Cottage is cosy and comfortable. The centrepiece of the lounge is the Aga wood burning stove located in an original inglenook.

Pots & Pans Cottage is our holiday cottage too, so we have equipped it with all the things that we would expect to find in a holiday cottage (and then some).

The small garden to the side and the rear of Pots & Pans Cottage is a silent haven of peace with no noise other than the occasional sheep or horse in the fields.
Pots & Pans Cottage in Uppermill Saddleworth has two modern and comfortable bathrooms. Plenty of lovely fluffy towels are provided.

The cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful hamlet so it is not suitable for parties. The cottage, although small, can comfortably accommodate four adults and therefore the maximum occupancy is four people.

Pots & Pans Cottage is perfectly located to access plenty of dog walking opportunities around Uppermill and Saddleworth. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome to stay.

Pots & Pans Cottage, a charming L shaped 18th-century weavers cottage, is located in a small hamlet 10 minutes walk from the centre of bustling Uppermill village in Saddleworth, and straight onto open Peak District for excellent walking.

Pots & Pans Cottage gets it’s name from one of the many rock formations that litter the moorland hills of Saddleworth. Not, as you may imagine, after our well-appointed kitchen!

The beautiful village of Uppermill in Saddleworth (home to the world-famous Whit Friday Band Contest) is set in an idyllic location nestled in the Tame Valley. With a canal and a river running through its centre and moorland hills all around, it is the perfect base for a countryside rural retreat.

Saddleworth is a collection of thirteen villages, with the attractive villages of Denshaw, Delph, Dobcross, Diggle, Greenfield and Uppermill all closely linked.  The open Peak District and Saddleworth Moors are within easy access for excellent walking opportunities.
