01 — The cottage
A weaver’s cottage
Pots & Pans is a two-bedroom, 18th-century weavers’ cottage in a peaceful, private hamlet, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Uppermill in the heart of Saddleworth.
It sleeps four adults, and dogs are more than welcome: Saddleworth is a perfect place for a holiday with your dog. As we’re part of a quiet, close-knit community, we don’t take bookings for parties.

Good to know: access is via an unmade lane and four entrance steps. Bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs, reached by steep stairs. Dogs are welcome, but the garden isn’t fully enclosed. Everything you need to know before you book
How booking works
- Choose your dates and fill in your details.
- Pay on the next screen by card or PayPal, or choose bank transfer. There are no booking fees or card charges. If you’re booking more than a month ahead, you pay a 50% deposit now and the balance a month before you arrive. Closer than that, you pay the full amount.
- Card and PayPal bookings are confirmed by email straight away. If you pay by bank transfer, please pay within 48 hours; we’ll confirm by email within 24 hours of your payment arriving.

A decked garden with a gazebo for eating outside, tucked away behind the cottage. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
