The Annual Saddleworth Show organised by the Rotary Club is being held at Well-I-Hole Farm in Greenfield on Sunday 28th June 2020.
This is a dog-friendly event, and you are more than welcome to bring your dogs along.
This fabulous day will be packed full of entertainment for all ages. Full details are yet to be released, but in 2019 this included: “Comedy trampoline act The Crazy Tramps, laser-quest, climbing wall, floating archery, and a bouncy castle. WelliKids storytelling with a collection of baby animals will keep the younger children entertained.
Traditional country events such as a dog show and demonstrations by dry-stone-wallers will be going on and the usual vintage and classic cars and a steam-driven Land Rover will be on display. Vintage tractor rides and the annual duck race on the River Tame will, of course, be there as well.
Tickets are available to purchase at the main gate, adult tickets are priced at £6 (over 16), child tickets (12-16) are available at £3 and under 12s can gain free entrance.
The show provides an opportunity for local businesses, craft producers and charities, to showcase their wares, and raise their profile, and all of the funds raised by the show will be used to support deserving local causes.

The show site is about a fifteen-minute walk from Greenfield Station, and free parking is available close by if you are travelling by car.
Though if you fancy it there is camping available at the absolutely fantastic Well-i-Hole Farm campsite. This is literally next door to the show site and is set in a beautiful location. On the Saturday before the Saddleworth Show, the Well-i-Hole farm site will host the Wellifest music festival on the 27th June 2020. This music festival is organised by the Rotary club and raises funds for local charities.
