The Saddleworth Show was last held on Sunday 30th June 2024, its 35th year. There has been no show since, and no word yet on whether it will return.
It was a dog-friendly event, and you were more than welcome to bring your dogs along.
The show was a fabulous day packed full of entertainment for all ages, with the likes of sand art, circus skills, Punch and Judy, a dog show, a climbing tower, kiddies inflatables, laser quest, archery, and a fairground.
The show gave local businesses, craft producers and charities an opportunity to showcase their wares, and raise their profile, and all of the funds raised went to support deserving local causes.
If the show does return, news will be on the Saddleworth Show website.
The show site at Well-i-Hole Farm is about a fifteen-minute walk from Greenfield Station, and the farm has an absolutely fantastic campsite set in a beautiful location. The farm can cater for tents, motorhomes, trailer tents and caravans. For more information visit their website Well-i-Hole farm campsite.
The Well-i-Hole farm site also hosted the Wellifest music festival, usually on the Saturday before the show. It was organised by the Rotary club to raise funds for local charities, and it hasn’t been held since 2024 either.
Cheers and beers and Vintage tractor rides!
