When you pay, use your own email address: the voucher comes to you, so you can give it however you like.
Fancy summer or Christmas on a standard-dates voucher? That’s fine: they just pay the price difference when they book.
*Standard dates are any time except July, August, and Christmas and New Year (20 December to 2 January).

What they’ll get
Their voucher
This is a sample. Theirs will carry the name and message you choose, and its own code. The QR code opens a welcome page just for them, with simple steps for booking their stay.
How it works
- Choose a voucher and pay by card. It only takes a couple of minutes.
- I’ll email you the voucher within one working day, ready to print or forward.
- Would you rather they had a proper card to open? Just reply to the voucher email with their name and address and I’ll post it to them, printed and in an envelope, free of charge.
- They scan the QR code on their voucher. It opens a welcome page just for them, with everything they need to know and a button to choose their dates.
- They pick their dates on the booking calendar and pop their code in. The total drops to nothing, or to the price difference if they’ve chosen summer or Christmas.
- I’ll confirm their booking myself, then send directions and the key code before they arrive.
Before you buy
The small print
- They’ve got 12 months from the day you buy it to book their stay.
- Dates are first come, first served, so if they’ve got their eye on a weekend, it’s worth booking early.
- Stays are two nights or more, for up to four adults. We’re part of a quiet, close-knit community, so the cottage isn’t for parties.
- Changed your mind? Let me know within 14 days of buying and I’ll refund you in full, as long as the voucher hasn’t been used.
- Posted cards usually arrive within a few days. Around Christmas, please ask by 15 December for delivery in time.
