The Diggle Blues Festival weekend is a relaxed and leisurely one, with performers playing in a number of venues throughout Diggle, performance times staggered so that you can travel around the village to attend each act, and enjoy a pint or two at the same time. It’s a lovely way to explore the village and enjoy a beautiful location whilst enjoying fabulous music, food and beer.
The festival is an indoor one, though if the weather is grand then some of the performances may be moved outdoors.
The festival is a fabulous local event and although it is free, it does rely heavily on the support of the local community. There is something for everyone, and well worth a visit.
The line up for 2025 is as follows:
Thursday 19th June

Friday 20th June
Wizard’s Hollow 19:15 – 20:30: Cooper and the Makerfields
Diggle Band Club 21:00 – 23:00: Lightning Threads
Saturday 21st June
Gate Inn 13:30 – 15:30: Martin Burch Band
Kilngreen Hall 16:00 – 18:00: Mike David’s Band
Diggle Band Club 18:30 – 20:30: Hot Foot Hall Band
Wizard’s Hollow 21:00 – 23:00: Racketeers
Sunday 22nd June
Wizard’s Hollow 13:00 – 15:00: Jon Taylor’s Blues Spectrum
Diggle Band Club 15:30 – 17:30: Brian Rawson Band
Kilngreen 18:00 – 20:00: Hooson Maguire Band
The festival is completely free and arranged by volunteers and is funded by charitable donations and the sale of T-shirts and memorabilia, though a small donation is always welcomed.
